Day 2 - A Royal tour of Copenhagen and evening cruise around the Copenhagen harbour including island dinner
Copenhagen has over the years become famous for its manifesto of New Nordic Cuisine. The city boasts 11 Michelin stars divided over 10 restaurants, and is home to the world's best restaurant, Noma. The city is also abundant with everything from small cosy pub style eateries, cafes with great coffee and establishments serving world class local beer.
Copenhagen is a wonderful summer city with numerous city squares and patios where restaurants open up to the street. The city centre is pedestrian and bicycle friendly, which creates a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere.
You will go on a private royal tour of Copenhagen, which will include watching the changing of the guard at Amalienborg Castle. You can then explore on your own by taking a canal tour, visiting the royal museum or go shopping for Scandinavian design. Don't forget to stop for coffee and some lovely danish bread/pastry from one of the many delicious bakeries.
In the late afternoon, join an early evening boat cruise in Copenhagen, including an authentic dinner at a small island “Trekroner”. This 5-hour voyage allows you to fully experience the whole harbour. After this you understand Copenhagen is made for sailing not bicycling.
Day 3 - Make your way to Kokkedal Castle
You will pick up your hire car in the morning at the car hire office in the centre of town setting off towards the nothern part of the Sjælland Island with map and GPS in hand. Driving in Denmark is not daunting at all, but is on the right hand side of the road. We suggest taking the scenic route up the coast for some breathtaking scenery.
Drive to Kokkedal, checking at Kokkedal Slot (Castle) is from 3pm.
TransportationApprox. 1 hour drive to get to Kokkedal Castle and another 30 minutes to Kronborg Castle.
Day 4 - Enjoy Kokkedal Slot and surrounding area

Enjoy the tranquility and the beauty of the grounds - maybe even a visit to the Spa by Sodashi. Optional add-ons include horse-riding, polo games and join fitness programs such as yoga or running.
